Father’s Day Weekend at Impact Church was an amazing celebration as we honored our Spiritual Father, Bishop Lyle Dukes, and all fathers for their leadership, love, sacrifice, protection, provision, and commitment to their families. It was a weekend filled with fellowship, empowerment, worship, and unforgettable moments.

The celebration began on Saturday, June 20th, as the men of Impact Church gathered for an exciting fellowship at Occoquan Regional Park. Men of all ages enjoyed a day filled with recreation, relaxation, fishing, bike riding, outdoor activities, laughter, and meaningful fellowship. It was a wonderful opportunity for the men to connect, build relationships, and enjoy brotherly fellowship in a fun and refreshing environment.

The celebration continued on Sunday, June 21st, with an incredible Father’s Day Celebration and Worship Experience. With our theme being “Men Empowered”, we kicked off the day with a special Father’s Day edition of Sunday School Live with Pastor Deborah, where we received powerful teaching from dynamic speakers and fathers at Impact Church.

The excitement continued during our worship service as we celebrated Bishop Dukes and fathers. We enjoyed a special video presentation highlighting the impact and influence of fathers, while many captured memorable moments at our Kings Photo Station, where fathers proudly posed for pictures with their families. We also celebrated fathers with a special Father’s Day slideshow presentation showcasing pictures of fathers at Impact Church.

The Men’s Choir ministered powerfully through a dynamic music selection that lifted up the name of Jesus and prepared hearts for the Word of God. Bishop Lyle Dukes then delivered a life-changing message entitled “Father’s Day Every Day,” challenging and encouraging fathers to embrace their God-given calling every day of the year.

Following service, the celebration continued at Dad’s Grill in the Marketplace. The Impact Church family enjoyed delicious food, including ribs, BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, mouthwatering desserts, and much more. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and fellowship as families gathered together to celebrate the fathers who make such a lasting impact in their homes, church, and community.

It was truly an awesome Father’s Day Weekend at Impact Church as we honored the men who lead, serve, protect, provide, and reflect the love of our Heavenly Father. We thank God for Bishop Lyle Dukes and all of the fathers who continue to make a Kingdom impact every day.
