At Impact Church, our beliefs are grounded in the Word of God and centered on Jesus Christ. We believe the Gospel not only changes where we will spend eternity—it transforms how we live every day.

 

We Believe in Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and will return again.

We Believe in One God

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate in the flesh.

We Believe in Christ Culture

We believe followers of Jesus are called to live according to the culture of Christ, not the culture of the world. Christ Culture means that Jesus undergirds what we believe, how we live, how we love, how we speak, how we serve, and how we treat others.

We don't simply attend church—we represent Christ wherever we go.

We Believe in the Bible

We believe the Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God. It is our foundation for truth, faith, life, and godly living.

We Believe in Salvation

We believe salvation is God's gift of grace and is received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through Christ, we are forgiven, made new, and brought into relationship with God.

We Believe in the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in believers, empowers us to live for Christ, produces spiritual fruit in our lives, gives spiritual gifts, and equips us to fulfill God's purpose.

We Believe in Water Baptism

We believe that water baptism, by immersion, in the Name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sin and is an outward expression of an inward transformation and an act of obedience that identifies the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We Believe in Communion

We believe all Christians should take communion as Jesus instructed, remembering the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

We Believe in the Local Church

We believe in the power and significance of believers coming together for Worship, the Word, Transformation, Fellowship and Prayer on a consistent basis. We also believe in the necessity of the local church unifying to impact the community and beyond to advance the Kingdom of God.

We Believe in Spiritual Growth

We believe salvation is the beginning of a transformed life. Every believer is called to grow in the Word, mature spiritually, develop Christlike character, and become a disciple who helps make other disciples.

We Believe in the Power of Prayer

We believe prayer is essential to the life of every believer and the Church. Through prayer, we communicate with God, seek His will, receive strength, and experience His power at work in our lives.

We Believe in Healing and God's Power

We believe God still heals, restores, delivers, and transforms lives. We believe in praying in faith and trusting the sovereign power and wisdom of God.

We Believe in Generosity

We believe everything we have comes from God. We honor Him through faithful stewardship, tithes, offerings, generosity, and using our resources to advance His Kingdom and serve others.

We Believe in Serving

We believe every believer has been gifted by God and called to serve. Ministry is not reserved for a select few—we are all called to use our gifts to strengthen the Church and impact the lives of others.

We Believe in Strong Families

We believe God established the family and that biblical principles strengthen marriages, parents, children, and generations. We are committed to helping families grow in faith, love, unity, and in Christ Culture.

We Believe in the Great Commission

We believe every follower of Jesus has a responsibility to share the Gospel, make disciples, and help others come to know Christ.

The Church does not exist only for those already inside—we are called to go, reach, serve, and impact the world.

We Believe in the Rapture, Christ's Return and Eternal Life

We believe Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be raised, and every person will stand before God. Those who belong to Christ will experience eternal life with Him.

We Believe in Heaven and Hell

We believe that Heaven and Hell are real eternal places and that our eternal destination is determine by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We Believe in the Sanctity of Human Life

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect and value all human life.

We Believe in God’s standard for Marriage, Gender and Sexuality

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as defined in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

 

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Impact Church as the local body of Christ, and to provide a Biblical role model to Impact Church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Impact Church in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender and Sexuality.

 

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Impact Church.

Final Authority

This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the full extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself is our final authority. We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and infallible Word of God and speak with final authority concerning truth, faith, morality, and how we are called to live.

Therefore, the Bible serves as the sole and final standard for what we believe, what we teach, and how we live as followers of Jesus Christ.
