Registration Guidelines
Registration is open to men and women ages 16 and older and includes green and cart fees, driving range, continental breakfast, beverage cart (non-alcoholic) during play, and an Awards Banquet and Dinner following play. Please note that if you register as a single golfer or as a partial team you will be paired with other golfers of varying skill levels to make up teams of four. Also, registration will close on Friday, September 18th.

Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament Format
Our Changing Lives Together Golf Classic is played using the Captain’s Choice format. This format is perfect for those who are learning to play! At each hole, the Team Captain can choose which player’s ball position they want to use, so even novice players don’t have to worry about their impact on the team’s score. Register yourself or your team today and get ready to enjoy a great day of golf!

Tournament Awards and Prizes
At the conclusion of the tournament, golfers will enjoy a delicious meal and a great time of fellowship with other golfers at our Golf Classic Awards Banquet. Prizes and trophies will be awarded to teams and players with the best scores in various categories.

Get Golf-Ready Before the Golf Classic

Are you ready to participate in the Changing Lives Together Golf Classic but are new to golf or maybe want to brush up on your game? Well, we have great news! We are hosting a dynamic Golf Clinic on Saturday, August 8th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lake Ridge Golf Course (Par 3 Course) to get you ready for this exciting golf outing!

This clinic is designed for both new golfers and those looking to improve their skills and knowledge of the game. Participants will receive instruction on the fundamentals of golf, including grip, stance, swing basics, scoring, and golf etiquette. Following the clinic, participants will have the opportunity to play a 9-hole round of golf alongside experienced members of the Golf Ministry.
This on-course experience allows participants to practice and reinforce what they have learned in a real playing environment while enjoying the game of golf. The deadline to register is Wednesday, August 5th.

Absolutely! You're welcome to participate in the Golf Classic even if you don't already have a team. Many participants register as individuals, and we'll place you with other golfers to form a team. It's a great way to meet new people, enjoy the event, and be part of the fun without needing to organize a team of four yourself.
Each golfer must have their golf clubs to participate in the Golf Classic. Old Hickory Golf Club has a limited number of clubs available for rent for $60 per set.
Golfers should wear a shirt with sleeves and collar, shorts or pants (no denim) and shoes comfortable for walking (golf shoes recommended).
Children are not permitted to attend the Golf Classic. The event is open to men and women ages 16 and above.
